During the 'Nyonya Pergi Makan' buffet promotion, specially invited guest Chef Barnitus Ang who is a Peranakan from Melaka with the assistance from the resort's Executive Chef Kenny Lin will be preparing contemporary and good old-fashioned Nyonya cuisine.
Chef Bartinus Ang is a true-blue Peranakan from Melaka. At fifty eight (58) years old, has thirty seven (37) years experience in the cooking profession and has worked in several five-star hotels and resorts locally and abroad, namely Brunei and Mariana Islands.
The buffet spread will include a salad and soup corner, main course desserts and action stalls with live cooking.
Main Course
Highlights on the menu include Nyonya Nasi Ulam, Ayam Pongteh. sambal Udang Petai, Sotong Masak Lemak Cili Api, Terung Sambal Udang Kering, Telur Cencaluk, Nyonya Chap Chai and Sup Ayam Kentang .
Action Stalls with Live Cooking
In addition, there will be stalls serving mouth-watering Nyonya Curry Laksa and Ikan Siakap Asam Pedas that will be prepared on the spot.
Salad and Soup Corner
Not Forgetting the greens, salad and appetizer corner, there will be Rojak Buah, Acar Mentah, Nyonya Kerabu Telur Goreng, Kerabu Soo Hoon, Otak-otak, Ulam-ulaman, sambal belacan and keropok.
